Protection Dogs Worldwide COVID-19

27 Mar 2020

As with the rest of the United Kingdom, we cannot ignore the scale and severity of the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are taking this challenge very seriously indeed, and the safety of our staff and clients is of paramount importance to us. It is for this reason that we have taken the difficult decision to suspend our normal operations. While it would be inappropriate to continue allowing site visits in the current climate, our training programmes, pre-buying processes, and client after-care are largely continuing as normal.

Currently, government guidelines state that people should “only go outside for food health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)”. In the interests of containing COVID-19, we will be following these guidelines and discouraging face-to-face contact with clients while implementing enhanced health and safety procedures for our staff. All staff are to take additional hygiene measures, including washing their hands as soon as they enter our site. If staff show COVID-19 symptoms or come into contact with potential patients, they will be asked to self-isolate for a period of fourteen days.

As ever, we remain available to our clients, and our post-purchase support packages have changed relatively little. Our team will be happy and able to advise on any issues or questions you may have about your dogs, and offering video call support around the clock. We will also be livestreaming our training on Facebook and Instagram, and hope you will be able to benefit from these virtual training sessions.
