Ollie Barham

Head Of Media

Who is Ollie Barham?

Ollie has over six years of experience working behind the camera, combining a strong scientific background with a passion for visual storytelling. His journey began with a degree in Zoology, where an interest in wildlife naturally developed into photography.

This led to a scholarship opportunity in North Carolina, where Ollie studied avian husbandry and worked closely with endangered waterfowl. During this time, he began filming wildlife to create promotional content, marking the start of his transition into filmmaking.

After returning to the UK, Ollie went on to complete a Master’s degree in Wildlife Documentary Production, further refining his craft. He then spent five years working as a wildlife cameraman, travelling extensively to capture a wide range of species including polar bears, jaguars, lions, sloths, painted dogs and native UK wildlife for television, ecotourism and social media.

Ollie now leads the media division at Protection Dogs Worldwide, where he plans and produces content that showcases the exceptional standard of the dogs and the work carried out by the team. His role focuses on delivering high quality, impactful visuals that reflect the professionalism and capability of the business.

His favourite part of the job is filming client handovers, capturing genuine moments as people experience the reassurance of feeling safe in their own homes. Translating those powerful emotions into compelling stories is what drives his work.
