Lydia has spent her entire life around dogs and brings both experience and passion to her role as Boarding Manager at Protection Dogs Worldwide, as well as being a qualified dog groomer.
Her journey began with a BTEC Level 3 in Animal Management (Behaviour and Welfare) at Bishop Burton College, where she specialised in kennel management and dog training. She then went on to earn Level 2 and 3 City & Guilds qualifications in Dog Grooming and has since successfully managed her own dog grooming business. Lydia also has experience working at a boarding kennel that housed dogs seized by the police under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, giving her valuable experience with a wide range of temperaments and behaviours.
In addition to owning three dogs of her own, Lydia often takes on PDW puppies for home training, helping them transition smoothly into their new lives. Her expertise ensures that every dog in her care receives the highest standard of training, grooming, and wellbeing. Lydia has been part of PDW for nearly 9 years and enjoys watching the company grow and evolve. She reflects, “I love seeing how much has changed at PDW over the last nearly 9 years, and I have learned so much—especially about how different breeds are unique in their own ways. I look forward to seeing what the future brings.”
