From a young age, Joe has been around German Shepherds and Rottweilers, learning their unique characteristics and teaching them basic obedience.
His early exposure to these breeds laid the foundation for his deep understanding of canine behaviour and training. Joe recalls, “Not knowing what I wanted to do in life, I was introduced to Leedor by a family member and started out as his handyman. After several months, Leedor offered me the opportunity to become a Kennel Assistant at PDW, and that’s where my journey truly began.” Since then, Joe has grown into one of PDW’s Head Trainers, working with a variety of breeds in obedience training and serving as a decoy in protection work. In his role, Joe has also had the opportunity to deliver dogs all over the world, fulfilling a lifelong dream to travel while doing what he loves.
His work has taken him to countries such as Malaysia, Australia, and many more, allowing him to combine his passion for dogs with his love of travel and new experiences. Outside of work, Joe is excited to introduce his own young German Shepherd, proudly bred at PDW, to the world of protection sports. His commitment, experience, and global exposure make him a highly skilled and valued member of the PDW team.
