Elisha has had a deep love for animals for as long as she can remember, with the only exception being slugs. Her journey began with horses, where she became fascinated by the ability to communicate almost silently, building trust through body language, energy, and mutual understanding.
That connection naturally transferred to dogs. She started working with her family dog, Stanley, a Maltipoo who is thankfully still with them at the age of 15. With Stanley, Elisha explored basic training and developed an early understanding of how dogs think, learn, and communicate.
As she grew older, her passion for dogs deepened, particularly in working and sport dogs. This led her to get her own dog, Chomp, a Rottweiler who quickly became the love of her life. Together, they began training in IGP and are currently working towards their BH. Chomp’s enthusiasm for obedience has only strengthened Elisha’s own, teaching her the value of clear communication, consistency, and building a genuine partnership between handler and dog.
Elisha is committed to continuing her growth as a handler while learning from experienced mentors. She values being part of a community of passionate trainers, where learning and work feel inseparable. She looks forward to seeing how far both she and Chomp can progress together.
