Training Standards for Our Protection Dogs

Protection Dogs Worldwide is a globally respected working dog dealership and training company. Although based in the UK, we have exported our dogs around the world and have recently worked with customers across North America, continental Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Our reputation is largely based on our training standards.

We offer dogs trained to three main standards: Level 1, Level 2, and “Elite”. Level 1 dogs are our entry-level product. They are obedient, acclimatised to normal home settings, and will protect when commanded to do so. Level 2 dogs are able to do all of the above and more. Specific skills we train them to perform can include searching indoor and outdoor areas for intruders, guarding a specific location, protecting against multiple attackers, and conducting stand-offs. An “Elite” dog is the most complete option. Starting with a baseline of multiple capabilities, these will then be tailored to a client’s lifestyle and security situation.

Ultimately, clients purchase dogs from us for a reason. Given the life or death implications of selling a protection dog that may not be able to perform adequately when called upon, training standards are not an area we compromise on.
