The Top 3 Heroic Dog Stories

6 Dec 2016

It’s no secret that the purchase of a well-trained protection dog is a sure-fire way of improving your safety and security. You’ll find that no other security measure is able to come close to the high standards set by any of our canines, as they provide you with an unbelievable of loyalty and dedication. All of our dogs have undergone thorough training to ensure that they are totally obedient to your commands, and they also integrate themselves as part of the family.

But you don’t need to just take our word for it, as we’ve put together a list of the top 3 most heroic dog stories out there on the internet, so that you can see just how loyal a dog can be.

  • Top of our list is a five-year-old German Shepherd called Moti, who took a bullet for his owners back in 2007. Moti was disturbed by the sound of intruders breaking into the household in the middle of the night and, without a moment’s hesitation, jumped into action. The intruder was holding a gun, and was distracted as Moti barked at his feet and generally tried to distract him away from his owners. The gunman panicked and shot Moti, then ran off without harming any of the human family. Fortunately, Moti made a full recovery from the attack, and really is testimony to how loyal a German Shepherd can be!
  • This one is another German Shepherd, this time called Max, and the events took place in California in February 2014. It all started when the dog’s eighty-year-old owner, Jack Farrell, got out of bed in the middle of the night and immediately passed out due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Max then leapt to his owners’ rescue and, after attempting to wake him, dragged him out of the room and into the kitchen. Jack then awoke to find himself bleeding and with his left arm firmly clamped in his dog’s jaws. Naturally, he thought he was being attacked by his dog and called 911, only for him to later realise that Max had saved his life.
  • And finally, it’s time for you to meet an award winner. Think back to film’s like Die Hard or Mission Impossible and, more specifically, that scene where there’s a huge explosion in slow motion. Looks cool, right? Well, in real life such a situation is certainly no walk in the park, and that’s exactly what Eve the Rottweiler found when she rescued her owner from a smouldering truck. Her owner was disabled and unable to escape from her burning truck, and so Eve jumped into the wreckage and pulled her to safety by her ankles. Eve even managed to carry her far enough so that they weren’t impacted by the following explosion. She was given the Stillman Award for the level of bravery shown.

Dogs really are remarkable creatures that will keep you safer than any other security measure can, and we have a wide variety of protection dogs for sale- including all of the breeds mentioned above. Our canines have all been well-trained, and won’t hesitate to jump to your defence at times of crisis like those above.
